We hear it all the time. You've probably said it yourself. We have! "I'm surviving" is a common response to the age-old question of "How are you doing?" This response indicates someone is doing okay but not loving their place in life. Shouldn't we strive for more? Shouldn't we aim to thrive instead of just survive?
Our Founder and CEO, Eric Amyot, launched this very mission for himself in 2019. This led to the realization that surrounding himself with a community of like-minded individuals on the same path of self-improvement would help him achieve his own goals. Agoge Fitness was born from this mission.
Boosts happiness. Builds muscle. Increases energy levels. Reduces risk of chronic disease. Increases brain health. Can help with relaxation and sleep quality. Aids in mobility and self reliance through all life stages.
Lower cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar. Reverse or prevent heart disease. Prevent and reverse obesity. Lower risk of cancer and diabetes. Improve symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. Improve overall quality of life.
Allows time for muscular and mental rejuvenation. Prevents fatigue. Reduces risk of injury. Improves performance and benefits of exercise. Improves mindfulness and awareness. Supports healthy sleep.
Builds relationships and ‘social connectedness’ with others, and exposes people to diversity, multiculturalism and different perspectives. Improves lifelong communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills. Provides an opportunity to learn and share life lessons.
Agoge Fitness members spend as much time outside as possible. Sure, we have a clean gym to gather at. But we'd much rather exercise under the sun, in the forest, in the rain and with grass and soil beneath our feet. Being outdoors grounds us and sets us free.
